First - a random picture I didn't post with the rest of Miller's birthday party pictures! Here are my beautiful sisters and me at Miller's party. I think this was the only pic with all the Hopkins girls and their kiddos!
Last week, Parker started school! This picture is of him at his "Meet your teacher" day. He LOVED the musical instruments :)
Our family at Park's "Meet the teacher" day.
Parker made his very first friend at school at his preview day! Here he is with Davis. Parker and Davis have something VERY important in common - THEIR BIRTHDAY! Park and Davis were both born via c-sections on April 14! How fun is that? Well - not the c-secion part - but the birthday part! Davis' mom, Kim, is super sweet and she and I already have plans in the making to get Park and Davis together for play dates. Can't wait!
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! So sad - I had a HUGE meeting that I was in charge of planning that also happened to be on Parker's first day of school! Thank GOODNESS daddy was able to take him! Here he is in the school parking lot looking a little worried!
Parker and Kayley about to go into school! Check out their awesome lunch bags - compliments of Aunt Whitney!
Park LOVES giving hugs these days! Melts my heart!
Whitney was able to sneak by Park's classroom before she left last week. Park is helping himself to making a mess in the classroom!
Whitney picked him up from school and they were still in the parking lot when she took this picture. Before Whit could pull out of the parking lot, Parker was OUT!
When they woke up from their nap after school, they had a surprise waiting on them! Kayley's Marmie sent them this special "first day of school" cookie bouquet!
Now I see what happens when daddy picks Parker up from Whit's house in the afternoon! He gets a cookie right before dinnertime... not sure that would have happened if I had picked him up!
YUM!
NOT sharing with dada.
So - last week, Chris shows up to my office in the afternoon and asks to come sit with him while he eats lunch. And... THIS was waiting in my office parking lot for me! SOOOO EXCITED! It's a 2007 Ford Edge - with only 13,000 miles on it! We were expecting the Explorer to die on us any day now and Chris was beginning to feel pretty nervous about me driving it every day - especially with Parker.
This past weekend, Mimi and Papa came to visit! My camera kept fogging up - thanks to the lovely muggy weather we had all weekend :)
Here is Parker and his cousin Campbell!
Campbell had a swing in her backyard that Parker loved! As you can see...
Campbell loved doing Mimi's hair for her...
The finished product.
The kid next door to Campbell had a birthday party with a petting zoo so we caught the last few minutes o fit and visited a huge bunny. I missed the visit with the donkey and the rooster - but Chris said they were not very eventful... Park's not a fan of weird animals...
Camera lens fogging up again. You can imaigne how lovely the weather was this weekend.

Park and dad outside the jumpy house. I couldn't let Parker in - way too scared of pulling out a pancake for a son - but we had fun watching Campbell!
P wasn't quite sure what to do with all the kids! He had fun watching though...
Park and Campbell at dinner Saturday night.
P wasn't too crazy about getting kisses.

And this may seem strange but I am in awe at this plant. I have seriously killed this plant more times than I can count and it ALWAYS comes back to life. I wish I would have taken a picture of it a few days ago - it was seriously 100% drooped down - I really wasn't sure it would make it this time. And - lo and behold - last night I noticed it was creeping up a bit...
And this morning - it had made some more progress! I feel terrible for nearly murdering it so many times- but this is exactly the type of plant I need under my care... one that can somewhat easily come back to life!
