Mother's Day and End of year programs GALORE

Mothers day was a little hectic this year!  Caroline was being Caroline after church and was not cooperating with the camera but Parker was a ham as usual and begged to take pictures of us!

Later that evening, I got a smile out of my girl!  Love her.
He ain't so bad either...
Not so easy to hold them at the same time!  It's a good arm work out at least!
Park had his end of the year program at church and was so cute!  This really freakishly tall girl stood in front of him (UGH!  I WAS SO MAD!) so we could barely see him for more than half of the concert but we managed to get a few glimpses!

We stayed for a quick end of the year part afterwards and got some pictures of Park in his classroom.
He loved his teachers, Ms Erika and Ms Marie!
Park's best friend was Taizo - best buds!
That same night we had his end of the year program for Awana!  Busy day!

Park got to stand right next to his best buddies Alex and Peyton!  They were so cute together.

Park and Alex playing their air guitars... Peyton was more interested in what was going on behind her!

So proud of our little Awana Cubbie!
We had a junk food celebration in front of the church after their performance.  Caroline was ALL about Park's plate of food!

Whew!  May was so busy with all this end of the year stuff but we were so excited to get our summer started!

KK and Garrett visit - and more

Whitney and Doug had a last minute trip in May so we invited their kids over for the weekend!  We had a blast hanging out with them - we love our cousin time!  We went to McDonalds one afternoon (yeah it was actually rainy and chilly - in May!) and the kids had fun playing in the playground and eating chicken nuggets.
The outfit Garrett is wearing was one that Parker was wearing only 6 months ago!  He's a big guy!

Caroline looking rather chubby in her turtleneck!
Park and KK peeking out of the playground.
We went to wake up Garrett one morning and Caroline insisted on getting in his crib with him!
Park and KK making brownies one night... a tradition while staying at Aunt Hillary's house!
One afternoon, we headed to Zaxby's for a dinner that was supporting Will Abernathy, a 4 year old boy in our church who was fighting cancer.  It was chaos and absolutely nuts - but fun, too!
The "babies" in the bath... their fave time!
Park and KK rode around the house like this all week!
They've been begging to sleep together forever and we finally decided they were old enough.. it took them a long time to fall asleep but when they did they were out!
May began our crazy rainy season in Atlanta!  It was rainy all the time!  The kiddos were always begging to go out and play in the rain but with all the thunder and lightening we had had, I was scared to let them - but they were excited to play in the shower - the next best option!

Caroline started becoming a snuggle bunny in the mornings!  We used to spend our mornings outside playing but thanks to all the rain, we were forced to stay in most days.  She started going to our blanket basket, pulling out a blanket and bringing it to us and saying "up peas!"

Trip to Savannah - Jac's Birthday and Ivy's Christening

May also brought along cousin JAC's 6th birthday party on the beach!  We were so excited to get to the beach again and we hadn't been to the beach with the kids since the year before so we were extra excited to experience it with them.  Caroline was a BEACH BUM!  This girl RAN full speed toward each wave, dug in the sand and laughed the ENTIRE time we were there!  She's my girl alright!
Posing in mommy's "gasses" as she calls them.
The dads of the group dug a sand picnic table for the kids to eat at!  It was awesome!

Caroline was ALL ABOUT some cupcakes!  Good thing the icing matched her swim suit!
Whoops!
All the cousins loved playing together!
Our little beach bum...
"I dig!  I dig!"
She had no problems getting soaked or sandy!
Doll baby.

On the way home from the party, the kids were ZONKED OUT about 2 seconds after we got in the car!

On Sunday, we had Ivy's chirstening!  Papa Joe got some snuggle time before the ceremony began.
We had a hard time keeping the kiddos occupied!
Drawing the shape of a cross of her forehead.
Heather, Joey's brother, is the godmother and Brian, her husband is the godfather.
It's pouring time!

Aunt Whitney is always part of the kid group.  :)
All the kids touching and praying for Ivy.

The Cetti family!
The whole group.
Nana and Hoppy with Ivy
After the ceremony, Ash had a yummy spread of food ready for us!
On Sunday night, we headed to my mom and dad's church to see the kids sing their end of the year choir songs.
On Monday, we stopped by Hoppy's office in the afternoon and he got to show us his 3D equipment that he uses to teach his students with! Parker wore the 3D glasses and he kept running up to the wall trying to touch the 3D objects he saw on the screen!

After our visit we headed back home!  It was a quick visit with the family but we were planning to ALL get back together in August for a week at the beach together!
