Trip to Indiana - Memorial Day 2013

Since Caroline was in the hospital in December, we didn't get to go see Aunt Phie and Grandpa Hull with the rest of the family - SO - we used up our Memorial Day weekend to go visit them!  We were so excited that Amy, Jeffrey and their sweet kiddos were going to be there, too.

Not long after we got there, the kiddos raided Aunt Phie's house and found all the fun toys around!  These masks were a hit for sure.

Aunt Phie has an AWESOME tree in her front yard that is perfect for climbing!

While we were there, we visited the Versailles State Park and had so much fun!  Aunt Phie packed us a picnic lunch and we stayed and played all afternoon.

Uncle Jeffrey had fun playing, too!
Aunt Phie had fun playing with Thomas!
Pretty Campbell Anne posing for me!

Catherine and Caroline are sweet buddies.
The next day we headed to the town where Chris and Amy lived for a lot of their childhood.  We went to the farm they grew up on and went to the little creek where Amy and Chris used to feed the fish every day.  We let the kids get out and feed the fish some bread... it was a really cool experience for Chris and Amy to see their kids doing a memory they remember so fondly.

Another afternoon we headed to Cincinnati to the zoo!  This is our second time at this zoo and it was great!  We even tried Skyline Chili this time and it was great!

The polar bear was our fave attraction!

Caroline called EVERY SINGLE ANIMAL "a puppy... woof woof?"

Park loved Mr. Gator!
My idea.... not his.
We got to see Grandpa a few times.. he was pretty frail and tired so we didn't keep him too long but we had fun with him while we could!

Caroline was sweet as ever to him... precious memories here.

So glad I remembered to get some quick snapshots everyone with Aunt Phie before we left on Monday morning!
