MEXICO!!!!! Part 1

After I participated in a very interesting spray tan endeavor, We left Friday night to head down to Savannah to drop our sweet kiddos off!  We was PUMPED to finally be on our way!  We stayed up and talked to my parents for a bit then headed to bed just to wake up before the sun to head to the Jacksonville airport!

We were so pumped to FINALLY be at the airport!  Vacation officially starting!  We had to fly into Miami and change planes but before we landed both times I took in the amazing-ness of all the views!  We kept talking about the kids and how Parker would just LOVE this!   We are planning to go on a mission trip to NYC in July with him and our church so we were talking about how he would react to being in the sky! 

As soon as we arrived in Mexico, we headed STRAIGHT through all the pan handlers and found our chauffeur immediately who took us and one other couple straight to our resort!  When we arrived, our bags were taken from us and we were immediately escorted to the VIP area where we were handed glasses of champagne and our concierge checked us in!  We felt like ROYALTY!  Aventura Spa Palace KNOWS how to treat their guests!

When we came to our room, someone brought our bags to us and we checked out our accommodations!  Chris was excited about our hot tub in the room and jumped right in!

We rested for a bit then got ready for dinner!  We took self portraits of us in our room each night.

We walked around the area before heading to the sushi place for dinner.  The entire resort was amazing.  Words cannot describe.

After dinner we went took a golf cart escort to the other side of the resort to go to the show and as we were heading out, we had someone walk by us in "clubbing clothes" and she said, "Oh, you go to CocoBongo?!"  We said, 'Huh?'  She said, 'Yeah, you go to CocoBongo?!"  We declined the invitation but she insisted describing that it was an "fun club of sexy dance in Playa"... we had already decided we were NOT going to leave the resort.  We were scared that we would die to put it bluntly so we told our "CocoBongo lady we were happy to stay here and she said, "WHY?!" in an incredibly disgusted voice. HA HA!  I guess that just confirms we were the big old losers at the resort!  We headed over to the Samba Brazilian show and we sat in the front so we could get picked to go on stage!  My idea - NOT my husband's! 

Chris was picked to go up front and help protect one of the dancers from getting beat up by another dancer. 

This is when we got picked to go up on stage.. some sweet lady in the crowd grabbed my camera and took some pictures!  My kind of lady!  :)

I was supposed to turn around and stick my booty out and shake it... my skirt was NOT long and I was NOT able to do that without making it a rated R show!

We came back to our room after the show to our turn down service.  Chocolates on our bed, TV on music and our sheets turned down for us.  They also had our robes and slippers ready for us next to our bed.  Chris put his on and I NEARLY fell over and peed in my pants from laughing so hard!  The robe came about 2 inches below his crotch and the slippers covered MAYBE his toes... he wouldn't let me take a picture, but that is something I will NEVER forget!  :-D  BUENOS NOCHES!
