My sister, Whit, needed some help with her kids (yes, plural now - so strange) on Saturday morning so we GLADLY stepped in and picked KK up and took her and Parker to McDonalds! We had such a fun time with these two kiddos - they are the very best of friends. After sharing a pancake breakfast, we let them play for about half an hour in the play ground. They were so cute together. Our little guy is a SHRIMP so KK had to help him up one part of the playground that he couldn't get up on (like a platform part before the slide) and she was so sweet to stay behind him (with only a little reminding) and help him up the platform each time. She would lift one of his legs completely up on the platform so that he was doing a complete split (flexible little guy) then she would reach down and put her shoulders under his bottom and HEAVE him up to the platform to which is face would go smashing RIGHT into the platform each time. However - he still loved it! Here they are in the slide!
After breakfast, we headed back to our house to paint some pictures (didn't even attempt to have my camera outside for this episode because I knew paint would be EVERYWHERE). After painting time, we had some fun in the pool!
They each liked the other one to help push them down the slide so they could get as much momentum as possible. (I realize it looks like they are just touching each others bottoms... promise that's not it!)
Thanks for coming to play, KK! Hoping there are lots more Saturday morning play dates before Parker's mommy has kids (plural - geez that is scary!)
