Ice Cream Truck Day & Grandparents Day at school!

This entire summer, the ice cream truck has come to Parker's school to sell ice cream for $1 to all the kids.  Starting on Tuesday, Parker usually begins to ask if the "Ice Cheem Chuck" is coming to school today and I have to tell him it's not til Thursday.  Well, a few weeks ago, Parker comes home in a set of clothes that I did not send him to school in.  Chris picked him up and (of course) didn't even take the time to talk to his teachers to see how his day was so I didn't know until later that night when his teacher sent me this picture the reason Park came home in his "extra set" of clothes.  Well - THIS would be why!  Ha!

Thursday morning was ALSO a special day because it was Grandparents Day at his school!  And even though Park's grandparents both live 4 hours away, it just so happened that Nana was staying at Whit's house to help with baby Garrett so she was able to get away for an hour to come spend some special time with the Parkster!  How lucky!  They shared a special morning snack of donuts and muffins then they got to play outside on the playground together.  Nana had so much fun!
