18 Months (and 2 weeks)

So since we forgot about scheduling Parker's 15 month doctor appointment until he was 15 months and 2 weeks old (whoops) he is a little behind on his doctor appointments these days!  He went today for his 18 month appointment and did FABULOUS!  Morning is DEFINITLEY the time to take little man to the doctor's office.  He did everything the doctor and nurse asked for - made his mommy proud!  He counted to three, pointed at every body part (including pee pee - he volunteered that one - she didn't ask!), did every animal sound, answered her when she asked questions, ran around, jumped, stomped, let her listen to him all over and was the best kid ever!  He even did great with both vaccines.  He got the flu shot (H1N1 and regular flu shot are combined into one now - yippee!) - and he got his 2nd Hep A shot.  Both were super teeny needles and he, of course, cried for a few seconds when he was stung, but she immediatley handed him a sticker and he was A-OK... what shots?  And when mommy had to run to the car to find her debit card that got lost underneath her jungle of a driver's seat in the car yesterday, he got to stay behind the desk with the nurses and when I got back he was SURROUNDED by women who just could NOT get over how precious he is.  I am pretty used to this as he gets comments all the time - but I was a little taken aback with HOW many nurses were crammed into this little cubicle to see Parker.  He just sat there on one nurse's lap with his mouth wide open and staring up at them like they were crazy :)  He's clueless as to how handsome he is.

Anyway!  He got a great bill of health - he's still a shorty at 31.5 inches (25-50%), weights 25 pounds (25-50%) and his head is on the big side at 19 3/8 (50-75%).

Reading the Tiger book and screaming out "ROAR" every few seconds.
Playing a game on mommy's phone - we are all about distractions at the doctor's office.
The stool - his all-time favorite toy!
He wanted to read the book to me.
After I dressed him he kept saying "HOME - MAMA - HOME!"
