Christmas Morning 2010!

Santa came to the Hull household a whole week early in 2010!  I had to pull some strings with some friends in the North Pole, but Santa made it happen!  He's a great guy!

I had this picture in my head that our first Christmas morning with Parker (where he actually knew what was going on) would be this sweet, quiet but exciting morning!  Well, exciting it was - sweet it was - but quiet - not so much.  As soon as Parker came downstairs he started saying "Pay pay pay!"  (Play play play!)  Some of the big gifts Santa brought him were not wrapped so he immediately want to spend time playing with each toy!  As soon as he was done playing on his slide (the biggest hit toy!) and tent he started ripping through some presents - he somehow learned in the past year how to open wrapping paper by the way.  Who knew.  Anyway - if we had left it up to Parker - Christmas morning would still be going on.  As soon as he opened up a present he would ask us to "OP PEAS!  OP PEAS!"  (Open please, open please!)  He wanted to play with each toy right then and there - he could care less about going on to the next gift.  We had to keep taking his toys away so he'd get through to the next gift.  There were a few times that he would get so ancy to open the gifts he would start shaking out of pure excitement - I guess it was as close to hyperventilating you can get.  We would have to calm him down then keep going!  All in all - it was the most precious morning I've spent with my family and I can only imagine how crazy things are going to get in the next few years!  This year was a little extra special because Nana and Hoppy were able to come up to witness our Christmas morning and they brought Ashley's son, Jac with them (since Ash was feeling a little under the weather and needed a little break)!  It was so fun having Jac there to help Parker open his gifts and play with him all weekend.

The absolute sweetest part of the morning was that he would say "Chay Tu" (Thank you) after opening all the gifts!  Such a polite little man.

 Running STRAIGHT to the slide!
 Our living room - POST-Parker!
Coming through the tent tunnel (Hole - as Parker calls it)
Saturday night, Whitney and Doug and Kayley came over to open more gifts!  Jac loved this one because the bag was nearly as tall as he is!
Parker got a construction hat from the A's - he kept it on for safety while he went down the slide.
Checking out his new Home Depot Work Bench from the A's!
Our living room POST-Parker, KK and Jac!
Checking out KK's babydoll high chair that she nearly had a heart attack when she opened!
 Aunt Nitney and Parker
Chris and I trying to keep Parker not to be afraid of the Jack in the box Aunt Nitney got him.  He was super scared of it at first - he's still getting used to it now.
 KK the reindeer!
Parker playing with his work bench!

Can't you see I'm very busy, mom?
