Thanksgiving 2010 was spent in sunny Orlando, Florida! My Granny, mom's mom, turned 90 the week of Thanksgiving! She's super awesome and will probably live to be 190! She throws herself a really big birthday party every 5 years and this year - ALL the family came together. Just Granny, her kids (my mom and her 3 siblings), their kids (me and all my cousins) and their kids (Parker and all my cousins kids) equals to nearly 40 pople! How awesome is that! Anyway - Granny rented us all a really nice condo on a golf resort to stay in for the 1/2 week we were there.
We enjoyed our breakfast on our first floor patio overlooking part of the golf course and lake. Here is Miller telling the birds to leave our breakfast alone! Miller's big brother, Jac was at Disney World on Friday so he's not in most of these pictures!
I randomly told all the kids to line up on the wall - and they did! I nearly didn't even get the picture because I was so shocked - and because this line up lasted a very long 2 seconds before they all ran away.
Miller, Kayley and Parker
We were trying to figure out who was taller. We all know that Miller weighs more than Parker (even though he's 4 months younger) but we weren't quite sure who was taller. I think Parker thinks he is and he is making sure Miller knows!
Parker was SCARED of the birds! Birds were NOT scared of him.
The resort had bikes you could use for the week at no extra charge so we definitely took advantage of that! Park and I stopped by the resort pool during our bike ride for a cute picture.
Doug giving all the kids a ride around our cul de sac!
All ready for our bike ride!
Some of the family getting together on Friday afternoon to make Turkey Oreo Cookies - a Hopkins tradition!
Saturday morning, we took Parker to Downtown Disney where he could ride the train! Jac and Kayley are in front of me and Parker. Kids were allowed to ride alone - but there was no way we trusted Parker in a train by himself.
My dad, Doug and my mom watching us on the train.
All the kids minus Miller in Downtown Disney.
Parker and I on the carousel... he wasn't quite sure about all this.
Park and I in the back. My mom and KK in the middle and Jac in the front.
Park was trying to figure it all out.
Downtown Disney has Lego Land! Check out the dragon - he's completely made of legos! I tried to get Parker to look at the camera for the picture but he wouldn't take his eyes of the dragon.
Loving Lego Land - an endless supply of legos!
Touching the dinosaur in front of the Dinosaur Cafe.
At Grandma's party - this is a picture of all my cousins.
My immediate family.
Parker literally danced all night - and when he finally got tired, he laid down on the floor :)
Some of Granny's grandkids and great grandkids did some entertainment for the party! Here is Josh doing some card tricks for Granny!
Here is Josh, Amber and Haley doing a birthday cheer for Granny.
Here are my beautiful sisters playing their violins.
And my cousin Jeffrey singing Johnny Cash - while Parker thinks of ways he can get more attention for himself.
Parker stayed out in the middle of the dance floor ALL night - not even kidding.
Granny and her cake!
Charlie - my cousin - dancing with Parker.
When KK gets nervous she chews on her dress!
Me, Parker and my incredible 90 year old Granny!
My cousin Rylee - holding my other cousins Jeff and Brandi's baby.
