Last Monday was Parker's Uncle Doug's birthday! He's very old - like 30 something :) - and he didn't want a party or anything but we did all go out to dinner together! Aunt Ashley and her 2 kids, Jac and Miller, were in town because they had an appointment with the Phipp's Santa Claus on Tuesday. We walked in and said we needed a table for 5 adults and 4 babies and they take us to a booth. It was a pretty large booth so we squeezed in - Ashley and baby Miller then baby Jac on one side - then me, baby Parker and all the diaper bags on the other side of me - and we had filled up the entire booth - there were still 3 more adults and another baby to fit in there. We search for the waiter and explain our situation and he got a really large table together for us across the restaurant. There was a live one-man band there as well and Parker LOVED hearing the music! This child has an awesome love for music already... taking after his mommy's musical side of the family. My parents actually shipped a grand piano to my house this week and as soon as I sat down at it, Parker began jamming and laughing constantly. He even sang a little with the songs he was planing on the pinao. :) More videos and pictures to come of that soon... below are pictures of our dining out adventure with all the babies... probably the last time we will attempt this... ever! :)
Baby Miller and baby Parker having a very serious conversation...
Miller will eat anything he can get his mouth on - included his cousin's finger... and Parker looks a little confused as his mommy forces him to kiss his younger but bigger cousin... I guess this is the meaning of "kissing cousins" maybe?
Uncle Chris and Jac listening to the music...
The birthday boy and Kayley Lane enjoying some Mexican food!
Ashley and her two kids.... seeing her life lived out with 2 kids has inspired me to never ever have any more kids...
Parker in awe of the music man...
He seriously stayed like this and did not move for the entire song...
Ash and Jac listening to music...
Parker... still in awe....
I think we have a future musician on our hands... depsite what daddy says about it interfering with sports...
