Another QUICKIE in Waycross

We spent a really quick weekend in Waycross last weekend to celebrate Griffin's 2nd birthday!  With everything that went on that weekend, it seemed like we were there for about 5 minutes but we managed to have some fun while there :)  I didn't manage to get in touch with any of my Waycross friends this trip though - maybe next time!

 Favorite activity of the weekend - SPLASHING in the pool!

 The first thing that comes out of Parker's mouth when he wakes up at Mimi and Papa's house is - "Papa, Feed Fish!"  His favorite thing to do is go feed the fish with Papa (or Mimi!) 

 Another favorite thing to do at Mimi and Papa's house is to pick fruit from the dozens of fruit trees in the backyard and plants.  This weekend, the strawberries were popping up!  Parker loved to eat them straight from the bush!

 And last but not least, Parker's other favorite thing to do at Mimi and Papa's house is to help Papa keep his yard up!  Park found a rake JUST his size and he scooted that thing all over the driveway and yard!

 Aunt Nitney and Uncle Doug let us borrow their DVD player this trip. We only like to bring it out if absolutely necessary because I can't stand the site of looking back at my son in a complete daze at the screen - can't be good for brain cells.  BUT - when the time comes - we know when to pull it out - and this thing works MIRACLES!  And - we now know every word to the movie "Dora's first day of school". 

 Oh - and we can't forget the reason we went to Waycross in the first place -
